Infiniroot Blog: We sometimes write, too.

Of course we cannot always share details about our work with customers, but nevertheless it is nice to show our technical achievements and share some of our implemented solutions.

Managed Private File Cloud (Seafile) updated + Changes in Customer Panel

Published on August 28th 2026

We use this blog post for two topics: Updates of our Private File Cloud (Seafile) server instances and changes in the customer panel, where customers can manage dedicated web- and mail servers.

Seafile 13.0.25

All managed Private File Cloud instances, which run Seafile as file management and sharing software, have been upgraded to 13.0.25.

This applies to both hosted Seafile Community Edition (CE) and Professional Editions.

As part of our managed Seafile offer, we regularly update Seafile. As always, we only upgrade the instances of our customers once all our internal tests have passed. These tests involve automated deployments, user interface verifications, Seafile Client synchronization checks and OnlyOffice tests.

This ensures our customers can use a thoroughly tested and approved Seafile application, without having to worry about technical dependencies and installations.

Redirect domains in Customer Panel

Our Customer Panel now supports adding redirect domains, to easily and quickly add domains that are only used to redirect to another website.

Redirect domains can now be created and configured directly through the customer panel, giving our customers a simple way to forward visitors from one domain to another - without having to contact support or edit configuration files.

Security improvements in Customer Panel

We are continuously improving the security of our Customer Panel. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now enabled to protect our customer's accounts with an additional verification step alongside your password. When a login from a new IP address is detected, a verification e-mail is sent to the customer's account. The additional one-way token ensures user verification - yet this remains a user-friendly login experience.

We also upgraded our backend password encryption and account password management.
